A Brief Background on Eichlers in Concord and Walnut Creek

Eichler homes were built between the 1950s and early 1970s by developer Joseph Eichler. These homes are known for their post-and-beam construction, floor-to-ceiling glass, radiant heating, and strong connection to the outdoors. They’ve become some of the most recognizable examples of California mid-century modern design and the inventory is limited.
